Real batana oil is thick, warm and nutty. It melts the second it touches your hands. That is how you know it has not been watered down.
Softens dry, coarse, colour-worn hair and brings back a real, honest shine.
Warm a little between your palms and massage it in. Once or twice a week is plenty.
Pre-wash treatment, overnight mask, or the smallest touch smoothed onto dry ends.
It takes two minutes and it is genuinely nice to do.
Scoop a small amount and soften it between your palms until it turns to oil.
Work it into your scalp, then down through the mid lengths and ends.
Leave 30 to 60 minutes, or overnight for very dry hair, then wash as normal.
Batana comes from the nut of the American oil palm, hand pressed by the Miskito people of La Mosquitia. It has been used there for hair and skin far longer than any of us have been selling it.
We keep ours unrefined, so it arrives thick, deep amber and warmly nutty. No silicones, no fillers, no fragrance added to cover anything up.
Across every texture, from coils to silver curls.

Results vary from person to person. Cosmetic product.
