What does it smell and feel like?
Thick, almost solid in the jar, and warmly nutty. Not perfumed. Warm a little between your palms and it turns into a smooth, easy to spread oil.
My jar arrived very soft. Is that normal?
Yes. Batana softens in heat and firms up when cool. It does not affect the quality. If yours is too soft, put the closed jar in the fridge for half a day. Do not freeze it.
How often should I use it?
Once or twice a week as a pre-wash treatment is plenty for most people. A pea sized amount on dry ends in between if you like.
Can I use it on all hair types?
It suits dry, dull, frizzy, coarse, curly, coily, thick and colour treated hair. If your hair is very fine, use a small amount on the ends only.
How big is the jar?
120ml, about 4.1 oz. Most people find one jar lasts six to eight weeks with weekly use.
